Friday

Time for a snooze

Hi all..woohoo Friday's here at last and it looks like it's gonna be a nice weekend for a change :)

Today's card is a little CAS number I've made using on of the gorgeous images from Di's digidownloads
Called Time for a snooze I can see me and hubby doing a  bit of this over the weekend hopefully :)

I did this quilted effect background on a card a few weeks back and liked it so though I would have another go this time using smaller squares. I think it would be great for using up your scraps.
I simply scored the lattice background using my hougie board onto papermillshop ivory linen card then cut squares of BP slightly smaller.
I coloured the image with prisma color pencils and the sentiment is computer generated using alisha font

Monday

With all my heart

Hi all, Happy Monday
Just stopping by to share a little Teddy Bo card I made last night

The piccie is not brilliant as it is grey here again :(
and this card is much nicer in real life even if I do say so myself !

Image is Teddy Bo printed onto papermill linen ivory card
coloured with prisma color pencils
I scored a lattice background using my hougie board which has been lightly distressed
with peeled paint distress ink
I added a few torn rolled roses, a few pearls and some lace
and framed the image with a bit of handstitching

and it's not square for a change :):)

Friday

Pick of the bunch

Hi all, hooray it's Friday :) do you have any plans this weekend? not sure what we will be doing I might go and see the Dark Knight Rises now all the crowds will have gone down. I can't stand going to the Cinema when it's packed all that crinkling of packets and heads in the way and especially for Christian Bale. I can't have anything distracting me or getting in the way of my of perviness :) well and the fact that people tend to stare when I drool lol

Anyway onto my card for today
My lovely friend Ruth has recently released some stamps with Tonic Studios called pick of the bunch.
You can read more details on her blog HERE

For my card today I have used the ROSES set
I simply stamped one of the roses twice, coloured with prisma pencils and decoupaged it to give a bit of dimension. Then I added a few of the ivy leaves from the set again coloured with prismacolor pencils, cut out and adhered with foam pads.
The sentiment is computer generated and I added a bit of hand stitching to frame

Some of the sets will be featured on create and craft on Sunday at 5pm

Back to my first love of CAS which these stamps work so well for.
I hope you like and thanks for stopping by today
