For my mum

Heres card I made for my mums birthday using one of these gorgeous bears from The clipart Fairy

I added my own wording in the plaque using bookworm and loosiescript fonts
I coloured her with prisma color pencils cut her out and mounted onto 3d foam
Added an embossed background using a craft too embossing folder
A little bit of organze ribbon and some faux pearls and voila!
Hopefully my mum likes it. I always have to think about it when I make cards for my mum as she is registered blind. So I like to add a bit of texture. She has a small amount of vision but doesn't process pattern very well so I kept the background plain and them hopefully she will be able to make out the image.

AND it's not her birthday till the middle of August!!! A month and a half in front!!! Get me lol

Hope you are having a good week

Wedding season

Wow I cannot believe the amount of wedding orders I'm getting at the moment. I think everyone I know knows someone who's getting married this
I have seen this idea with the hearts around many blogs lately so thought I would give it a whirl.

I don't have any heart dies so simple printed one out from pageplus and drew round/cut out
they were then embossed with the divine swirls cuttlebug folder
All the wording was done on the comp using littledays font
I then stamped around the edge in a matching pale turquoise and added an embossed frame using my hougie board
The card is 8x8

As always I've struggled to get a decent photo. it's either to dull or too bright...stupid weather! lol

Stargazer Lily

Isn't this Lily image from a passion for stamps beautiful?

I coloured it with prisma color pencils
The sentiment was computer generated
Thought I'd share a cute pic of my furbaby with you too
Have a great weekend

Molly Spencer

I'm loving this new family over at The Digistamp Boutique called The Spencers.

As you may have noticed of late I am trying to use my images in different ways by cropping etc get more for your money that way don't you.
For this card I have used Molly Spencer but cropped her right down as I've had this cute little CAS layout in my head for days and she is just perfect for it!
As always I've coloured her with prisma pencils the little daisy punch is by xcut and the text font is bookworm

Beth Bear

As you know I am a sucker for bears and these new ones called Beth from the clipart fairy are no exception

Isn't she the cutest? There is also a new boy bear called Ben here
The backing paper is also from The Clipart fairy
As soon as I saw the way this little beaut was standing with her arms wide apart I had the idea
of the bunting with that name on it. She would be great to add plaques to etc.
The quilted effect was done on my hougie board and again I added some faux
stitching on the machine but with no thread.

I do wish the weather would make up it's mind what it's doing...struggling to get decent photos again in this gloomy weather! I should really invest in a new daylight lamp. I got so fed up looking before as I couldn't make my mind up and got really confused about what sort I wanted lol
Anyone recommend one?

Bit of a ...

Giraffe thing occurring Think they are my next fave images to work with after bears:) and when I saw this one over at the digistamp boutique I knew I just had to have him..isn't he adorabubble???

He's part of this set called Baby animal collection, and the other three images in the set are just as adorable.
I simply printed him directly onto the Ivory card added a faux stitched frame and sentiment using bookworm and little days fonts. Then coloured him with prisma pencils and decoupaged his head and his little tail for dimension.

Book a easel

I was asked to make a special card for my sisters friend to give to her sister. She had seen the baby card I made a few weeks back and asked for something similar.

I used the modern heritage rose set but printed it onto Ivory card for an even softer finish

I also made a matching box.
The flowers were all handmade just using layers of diecuts and punches then shaping
